R.I.P. Steve 'Butch' Paterson

It is with sadness that I report of the passing of Steve 'Butch' Paterson last night. He was 47.

Butch has been associated with the Rams for a number of years as a player, sponsor and supporter of both junior and senior Rams.

We will remember him as a genuine nice guy, one who was always smiling and looked genuinely happy with life.

Moving away recently from the meat business, which he ran with wife Ann, he took up long desired job of driving buses, where his cheerful personality was passed on to commuters all over Sydney.

Steve is survived by wife Ann, son Carl and daughter Laura, and he will be missed.

The family and friends of Stephen are warmly invited to attend his funeral service to be held in the Palm Chapel, Macquarie Park Crematorium, Plassey Road, North Ryde on Tuesday, 12 April 2011, appointed to commence at 12.15 pm.

Then after at Denistone East Bowling Club from 1.30pm CNR King's Rd & Salter Cres Denistone East
